Dan Snow
More than a million people a day listen to the podcasts of ‘History Guy’ Dan Snow. And this year he will be taking part in the Bridge of Liberation.
Dan was born and raised in London and he remembers spending every weekend of his childhood in castles, battlefields, mansions, and churches. Dan developed a great passion for history which he continued to pursue at Oxford University. He left Oxford with a double doctorate in History. In 2002 he began presenting his first show together with his father, Peter Snow.
In 2004 he won a BAFTA Craft Award for the 8-part documentary Battlefield Britain. After that he presented several shows for the BBC. One of his most well-known shows is The One Show. He also started his own channel “History Hit” on which he releases videos and podcasts. With a large and loyal fan base, Dan is one of the most successful modern history reporters of Europe.
