
JESSE LAPORT
Jesse Laport (1991), a qualified writer, was appointed City Poet of Arnhem in 2012 (and still is), in addition to being an organizer, writer, presenter, actor, musician, editor and guest lecturer. Previously, Jesse Laport – who always appears on stage in a suit and tie – has performed for the Royal Family, at the Geen Daden Maar Woorden Festival, Zwarte Cross, Pukkelpop, in Paradiso, held a Tedtalk, and spoken much more. Laport is keynote speaker and presenter at People Say Things, and organizer and face of open stage Tapschrift. His work has appeared in several (anthologies), newspapers, magazines, on walls, and in halls. He gives workshops mainly to groups of young people, at art schools and elementary schools.
