Thea Bouwhuis
Thea Bouwhuis (90) is an eyewitness of the battle for Arnhem and experienced the subsequent evacuation and reconstruction. Thea is a regular eyewitness in the Airborne Museum where she shares her stories with future generations. Francis hears what she saw as a child, had to leave behind and then rebuilt.
Episode 2: Theo JanssenAn over-the-top Arnhem vlog episode in which Francis meets Theo Janssen on sacred football ground: The Gelredome. Theo is an Arnhemmer through and through, played for Vitesse for years, made a trip to Dutch clubs such as FC Twente and Ajax and when a European career beckoned, he stayed here, because leaving Arnhem is not an option.

Maybe this vlog will surprise you too. Francis speaks to a group of students from the Rijn IJssel and when you think of young people between the ages of 16 and 21, you may not immediately think that the Second World War has an impact on them. But that turned out very differently...
The students shared wonderful personal stories about the impact of war and what freedom means to them. A real Airborne ❤️ is also true in this generation.

Due to his personal experience and knowledge of history, he is able to continuously talk about the impact of war.
