Francis is a popular presenter and program maker on various cultural stages. He graduated as an actor from the Amsterdam Theater School in 1996, worked with various theater companies and was part of the permanent ensemble of the National Theater. He can now be heard daily on the Soul, Funk and Jazz channel Sublime with his morning show Sublime Sunrise.
VERSATILE MAN
After years of acting, he focuses on his talent for language, music and (new) media. He was a presenter at AT5, editor-in-chief of Cultuurpodium.nl, and radio maker at Red Bull Music Academy Radio and at the KRO on NPO Radio 1. He records audio books for which he was on the longlist with the reading of Grand Hotel Europa by Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer of the Hebban Best Audiobook Award 2019 and shortlisted for the Storytel Award 2019 for the best Audiobook.
He can now be heard daily on the Soul, Funk and Jazz channel Sublime with his morning show Sublime Sunrise. He is also associated with the Winternachten festival as an editor, program maker and presenter. In 2014 he was chosen as a media personality in the Colorful Top 100.
