Karsu began performing at fourteen in her father's Turkish restaurant in Amsterdam. Her breakthrough came at 17 with a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York. She has since performed in more than twenty countries and at various prestigious venues.
Her musical style combines classical, jazz, pop, and Turkish influences. She has released several albums, including "Confession" (2012) and "Colors" (2015), and won the Edison Audience Award in 2016. In 2021, she scored a number 1 hit in Turkey with the single "Sonunda" and landed her own cooking show on 24Kitchen.
In February 2022, she resumed her club tour through the Netherlands and performed at a sold-out Paradiso. On May 5, 2024, Karsu presented the Liberation Concert on the Amstel River in Amsterdam with Frits Spits, where she also performed.
