BRIDGE TO LIBERATION

On September 20th, we will stand at the foot of the historic John Frost Bridge and, via stream, commemorate the 80th anniversary of freedom, which will also be celebrated extensively.

On the floating stage, with a large LED screen in the John Frost Bridge as a backdrop, artists Karsu, SEF, Jaap Reesema, and Thomas Oliemans will perform their enchanting performances alongside Phion, the orchestra of Gelderland and Overijssel. Jurriën Schobben, along with Introdans, will present a unique choreography about the impact of war. Narrator Welmoed Sijtsma will transport visitors, viewers, and listeners to Max Wolff's personal experiences during the liberation of Europe.
