Jaap Reesema's musical career is flourishing. He starred in 'Beste Zangers', was announced for 'Liefde Voor Muziek', and was team captain in 'DNA Singers'. His album 'Als Je Voor Me Staat' (2023) reached the number 1 position in the Netherlands and Belgium, and gave him four Top 40 hits, including the double platinum hit 'Nu Wij Niet Meer Praten' with Pommelien Thijs.
Under the name Jake Reese, Jaap collaborated with artists such as Hardwell, Jay Sean, and David Guetta. He won the award for 'Best Vocal Performance' at the International Dance Music Awards in 2015. He now focuses on Dutch-language solo records.
