BRIDGE TO LIBERATION

On September 20, we stood at the foot of the historic John Frost Bridge and reflected via stream on the anniversary of 80 years of freedom, which was also extensively celebrated.

On the floating stage, with a large LED screen in the John Frost Bridge as a background, the artists Karsu, SEF, Jaap Reesema, Thomas Oliemans presented their enchanting performances together with Phion, orchestra of Gelderland and Overijssel. Jurriën Schobben showed a special choreography about the impact of war with Introdans. Narrator Welmoed Sijtsma took visitors, viewers and listeners into the personal experiences of Max Wolff during the liberation of Europe.
