Vinchenzo, along with the other artists, uses his beautiful voice to convey the feeling of the story in Bridge to Liberation -screen experience. The theme of "FREE" resonates deeply with him. By participating, he hopes to make the Dutch aware that freedom and liberty are not always a given. Vinchenzo Tahapary grew up in Tiel. The 20-year-old singer became famous through the program "The Voice of Holland." Vinchenzo comes from a very musical family, and it wasn't long before he found himself in the music world. At the age of eight, Vinchenzo performed for the first time. Together with his father, he sang the song "Father & Friend" by Alain Clark. At the age of ten, Vinchenzo applied for the RTL-4 program "My Name Is Michael," made a strong impression, and ended up in the final 10 candidates. As a result, Vinchenzo was selected for a role in the musical "Flipje," which was organized by sixteen primary schools in his hometown. He is assigned the role of Michael Jackson and will perform twice a day for a week.
In 2012, he participated in The Voice Kids, where he made it to the singles. In 2016, at 16, he participated in the "adult" edition of The Voice of Holland (Season 7), where he reached the finals and finished third.
Last season, Vinchenzo was featured alongside Nochtli Peralta Sanchez in the dance program Dance Dance Dance on SBS6.
Asked about his ambitions, Vinchenzo is modest but determined. Anything goes, but if you look deep into his heart, he also wants to be the biggest artist. With influences like Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, and Chris Brown, it's no wonder he also wants to be a triple threat: singing, dancing, and writing songs—that's the plan.
A complete act with accessible music, great singing, and dancing—that's what I want to bring to the Netherlands. You don't really have that international sparkle here. I want to be an artist who comes on stage with fireworks and puts on a whole show with eight dancers. A true pop star. And if the opportunity arises, I do have the ambition to become the biggest in the Netherlands, yes. I'll just do my best; if it happens, it happens
