We all know the versatile Art Rooijakkers, don't we? He has an impressive track record. From contestant to winner to presenter of "Who is the Mole" (Who is the Mole). From writing columns to writing his own book and serving as an ambassador for the Refugee Foundation for years. Art has been on RTL since 2018.

Presenter and program maker Art Rooijakkers, trained as a journalist, began his television career as the youngest reporter ever for the current affairs program NOVA. He worked for the Amsterdam TV channels AT5 and Net5. After winning "Who is the Mole?", he started working as a presenter at AVRO and hosted "Who is the Mole?" for seven years. In 2013, he won the Golden Televizier Ring for the program. Art has been nominated several times for the Silver Televizier Star and produced programs for AVROTROS such as "The Best Brain in the Netherlands" and "Heroes of the Wilderness.".
In 2018, Art moved to RTL, where he presents the reportage program "Everyone Talked About It" and the personality program "Rooijakkers Over De Vloer" (Royal Dutch TV Show). Art feels comfortable combining entertainment and journalism. He enjoys presenting at BNR Nieuwsradio and the RTL4 program "Praat Nederlands Met Me" (Speak Dutch With Me) with equal pleasure.
With his production company Zuiderzon Media he made documentaries about Bruce Springsteen and Van Dik Hout and nature programs such as Reptielengek!
Starting in the spring of 2019, he wrote a weekly column in Het Parool for a year about the future of his twin daughters, titled "The Century of My Daughters." He also produces a radio program for BNR Nieuwsradio and a podcast under the same name, and will publish a book in the fall of 2020.
Art has been an ambassador for the Refugee Foundation for years and has participated several times in the Night of the Refugee, an annual sponsored walk that raises awareness and funds for refugees in crisis areas. In recent years, Art has also personally visited a significant number of these crisis areas, including Iraq, Nigeria, and Colombia. Art also serves as an ambassador for the World Wildlife Fund.
